Kanan Jarrus (Season 3)

 

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Kanan Jarrus Kanan Jarrus, born Caleb Dume, was a Force-sensitive human male Jedi Knight who survived Order 66. Living on thanks to the sacrifice of his master, Depa Billaba, on Kaller, he met the smuggler Janus Kasmir, who taught him how to survive as a fugitive. Going into hiding, he forsook the Jedi ways for some time, swapping his blue-bladed lightsaber for a blaster.

REQUIRED ITEMS

1. Shirt:

Shirt must be made with central brown panel that extends from the front to 3/4 of the way down the back. The brown panel in back should taper slightly and feature an elongated hexagonal cutout consistent with references. The shirt color on the sides should be a light green or olive tan consistent with references. Epaulettes should be of the same greenish color as the sides of the shirt. There should also be a yellow triangle outline just beneath the collar split consistent with references. Sleeves are 3/4 length and of the same brown color as the center of the shirt. A standing collar should be included, consistent with references.

2. Pants:

Fitted grey pants with no visible pockets. Front seam and closing must be consistent with references.

3. Boots:

Leather or leather like boots must be a brown color.

4. Belt:

The belt must be 1 1/2 – 2 inch dark grey or black leather and have a silver buckle of a custom design consistent with references. The back of the belt must also have a silver buckle. A silver lightsaber hook must be attached of the left hip. There must be a holster with a silver attachment which attaches to the front bottom right of the front buckle and the bottom right of the left buckle. The holster should be a box type and have a leg strap to attach to the right thigh. All straps must be either dark grey or black. There must also be a droid caller on the right side of the belt above the holster and a black pouch just behind the lightsaber hook on the left.

5. Gloves:

A pair of brown formfitting fingerless gloves is worn on both hands.

6. Armour pieces:

Armor pieces are worn on both shins and the tops of each foot.

-Shin armor must be brown and cover the entire calf and extend up into a knee plate. Both knee plates must have a yellow circle in the top. -Foot armor should be the same brown as the shins and cover the top and sides of the center of the foot, leaving the leather boot toe exposed.

7. Lightsaber:

A custom lightsaber with a design consistent with references and a blue blade. No children’s lightsabers.

8. Blaster:

DL-18 blaster painted black with brown detail on the handle consistent with references. (Unless local laws prohibit or strongly discourage carrying anything that looks like a firearm).

9. Hair

Dark brown hair/wig pulled back into a medium length ponytail at the base of skull.

10. Beard

Full beard (dark brown, matching the hair/wig).

11. Visor

Visor must cover the eyes and face from halfway up the nose to above the hairline. Costumer’s eyes should not be visible through the visor. Visor should be olive/green and weathered consistent with references and should feature the Jaig Eyes in white. The border of the visor should be grey or light brown and extend into panels on the side of the head with small round “bolts” over the ears. Visor should be affixed in such a way as to hide the strap or other method of fastening.
