A’Sharad Hett (Before/After Order 66)

Note: For face characters, all costumers should strive for a close resemblance to the character's hair shape and color, facial hair or lack thereof, as well as any body decorations the character may have, such as tattoos and piercings. For hair color, unless exact color is required by the standard, all natural hair colors are accepted.

If the character does not have tattoos, piercings etc. then the costumer should cover up/remove any tattoos, piercings etc. they may have when wearing the costume.

 

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Darth Krayt, born A’Sharad Hett, was a Human male who served as a Jedi Master in the waning days of the Galactic Republic.  The son of legendary Jedi Knight Sharad Hett and his wife K’Sheek, both of whom lived among the Tusken Raiders of Tatooine, he eventually became the Padawan of Jedi Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi, and later, An’ya Kuro.

REQUIRED ITEMS

1. Chocolate/dark brown vested tabards with raised collar:

Tabards may be closed under the arms or open.

Tabard length must extend past outer tunic, but the back of the tabard is closed to one piece.

Tabards are not tattered.

Tabards can be made of leather/leather like material or heavy fabric.

2. Beige Outer Tunic. (OT):

Outer Tunic must extend mid-thigh in length. Collar should be approximately 2 inches in width.

Sleeves can be shortened and cuffed in order to fit into the wrist wraps without being bunched.

Sleeves are ‘un-tucked’ at the shoulder.

No Kimonos, karate/judo gi or gi like construction allowed.

Outer Tunic is not tattered.

OT should be closed left front panel over the right front panel, with no visible closure mechanism.

*Optional: Light sand staining

3. Beige/tan turtleneck inner tunic (IT):

Collar of turtleneck must reach up to jawline.

May be full or false tunic.

4. Wrist wraps in beige/greyish beige:

Must go over sleeves of OT and under gloves, extending up just short of elbow.

Must be of heavy cloth (example: Bull Denim).

Wrist wraps must not show gaps or skin underneath.

*Optional light sand staining, light tattering

5. Beige Obi (sash):

Should be of same material as OT.

*Optional: light sand staining

6. Pants:

Should be either Chocolate Brown or Beige Cotton Twill.

Pockets should be covered by OT Skirting.

Pants should not be worn or stained

7. Boots:

Boots are to be of a wrapped style of similar material and color as wrist wraps.

Boots have visible traction sole.

No visible zippers or laces.

8. Gloves (not always worn when helmet is removed):

Dark brown leather/leather like material with no visible trademarks and minimal design.

Wrist of gloves is turned inside out to cuff.

9. Belt:

Brown OR style belt. The belt consists of two belts, a wider inner (against the Obi) belt approximately 2.25 inches in width and an outer belt approximately 0.75 inch in width. The thinner outer belt is held in place with eight (equally spaced) silver button studs.

Must have at least 1 set of 4 Food Capsules, 2 Covertec clips (one on either hip), and a minimum of 4 pouches

10. A’Sharad Hett’s Lightsaber:

Hilt is wrapped in brown leather, may be laced.

Must have at least 2 tassels decorated with 3 ‘claws’ each tassel, and beads.

No toy sabers (no Ultimate FX short saber).

The lightsaber may be a static prop (hilt-only).

Attached blade(s), LED lights, and sound effects, are allowed but not required.

If lightsaber has a blade, it must be green in color.


Optional Items #1:

First Version

1. Hair:

Hair is black and pulled back in a long braided ponytail, at least to lower back in length.

Natural hair or a synthetic wig is acceptable.

Costumer must be clean shaven.

*Optional: Hair can be tied with wrappings at base of the ponytail

2. Tattoo:

Costumer should accurately recreate the starburst tribal tattooing in prosthetic make-up.

Second Version

1. Tusken Raider Helmet/Mask:

Fully wrapped helmet/head similar to one as seen in Episode IV: must include cloth wraps (duck cloth, muslin or similar fabric should be used), leather/simulated leather mouth-wraps, 2 tapered/straight eye-stalks with 2 slits cut into the underside of each, 4 head-spikes, 2 blood-spitters, 1 silver nose-piece (tooth) with at least 2 vertical slots, screened lenses so as not to see the eyes and mouth of the wearer.

A black braided ponytail must come out of the back of the helmet wrappings, length reaching to lower back. Base of ponytail can be wrapped in wrappings.

*Optional: Red or Rose colored lenses in the eyestalks *Note: A’Sharad did not wear a ‘Breather’ during the Clone Wars

2: Neckseal & Balaclava:

A neckseal should be made of the same wrappings as the helmet to prevent any skin from showing. Neckseal should go underneath the IT and appearing to be a continuation of the helmet wrappings to hide any flesh.

Optional Items #2:

For version Post Order 66, the robe (point 1–6) must be weathered, stained and tattered.
